About the work
"Gilded Petals" is an exploration of nature’s resilience and its ability to transform into something eternal. The piece is divided into two worlds: a smooth, untouched white expanse and a vibrant, sculpted field of gold. Each raised stroke is reminiscent of falling petals or autumn leaves, captured and preserved in a brilliant metallic finish.
The artwork represents the harvest of light—the moment when simplicity meets opulence. By using a heavy texture, the painting changes throughout the day, as sunlight dances over the golden ridges, creating a living play of shadows. It is a statement piece designed for those who find beauty in the tactile and the timeless.
